Rapper Young Thug has been released after over 900 days in jail following a plea deal that concluded one of Georgia's longest and most controversial criminal trials. The 33-year-old artist, indicted under the state's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, faced charges related to his alleged leadership of the Young Slime Life (YSL) gang, a group prosecutors claim was responsible for violent crimes in Atlanta. Though YSL initially appeared as a music label, authorities argued it functioned as a criminal syndicate linked to murder, drug trafficking, and robbery.

Reality TV star, Kim Kardashian has been vocal about the release of the Menendez brothers – Lyle and Erik. Lyle and Erik Menendez were found guilty of first-degree murder in 1996 for the 1989 murders of their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez, after a second trial. The jury argued that the brothers were driven by hatred and desire for their father’s estate. They argued that the murder was also premeditated. Lyle and Erik are currently serving a life without parole sentence. According to Lyle and Erik, there father was sexually molesting them and their mother, Kitty Menendez was aware.

Usher wasn’t the reason Keke Palmer ended her relationship. In a recent interview with PEOPLE, the 31-year-old actress and author of Master of Me shares her experience attending Usher's concert last year and the fallout with her ex, Darius Jackson.

Palmer and Jackson welcomed their son Leo in early 2023, appearing as a happy family, but, as she reveals, “there was a lot going on” behind the scenes. In July, Jackson publicly criticized Palmer’s outfit choice from the concert, writing, “It’s the outfit tho... you a mom.” This comment, directed at a video of Palmer in a sheer dress dancing with Usher, sparked an online backlash in Palmer’s defense.

Seeing the commotion, Palmer says she was initially “speechless.” She recalls, “I was at a photo shoot, and everyone was acting strange. Then I checked my phone and saw what was happening. It was so surreal—I didn’t want to add fuel to a situation that wasn’t even real.”

Reflecting on the incident, Palmer explains, “I was just having fun at a concert. How people turned it into a romance story with Usher, I don’t understand.” To play off the rumors, Palmer released a playful song and music video called “Boyfriend” with Usher, stating, “Things are rarely as they seem.”

Addressing the end of her relationship with Jackson, Palmer cites the pressures of new parenthood and the impact of fame, which intensified their struggles, leading to a public breakup, custody battle, and allegations of domestic violence.

“Fame has always been a burden, not just in romantic relationships but also with family and friends,” Palmer says. She adds, “People think I have a glamorous life, but really, I’m just a regular mom going out to have fun. I can’t control people’s perceptions, only how I show up.”

Megan Thee Stallion has filed a lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz, known online as Milagro Cooper, for cyberstalking, sharing a deepfake pornographic video of the rapper, and intentionally causing emotional distress. Megan accuses Cooper of spreading misinformation and harassment to tarnish her reputation, allegedly on behalf of Tory Lanez, who is serving a 10-year sentence for shooting the rapper in 2020.

Seeking compensatory, punitive, and statutory damages, Megan has requested a jury trial to hold Cooper accountable.“It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying, and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life,” Megan stated.

The suit claims that Cooper, with tens of thousands of followers on platforms like YouTube and X, has acted as a “mouthpiece” for Lanez, amplifying harmful claims about Megan, including questioning the shooting’s legitimacy and falsely suggesting the firearm used had gone missing. Megan’s attorney, Alex Spiro, issued a preservation notice to Cooper, detailing that the weapon remains in LAPD custody and rebuking her for failing to verify the information. The suit argues, “Defendant Cooper could have easily verified this information but chose to ignore it and instead promulgated lies about the integrity of the trial and investigation.”

In addition to spreading false narratives, Cooper allegedly shared a deepfake video of Megan, a violation under Florida law, which prohibits “altered sexual depictions” of real people. This action reportedly intensified a “firestorm of negative reactions,” prompting Cooper to dismiss Megan’s concerns and publicly call her a “professional victim.” In one instance, she suggested Megan “just get over it, or go away.” The lawsuit further alleges that Cooper’s defamatory statements extended to derogatory comments about Megan’s character, including labeling her an “angry black woman” and insinuating she has a drinking problem.

Cooper responded to the lawsuit on X, acknowledging she had been informed of the legal action and remarking, “Of course, we’ll chat about it. They threw in the tape too.” Megan, however, remains resolute in pursuing accountability, stating, “These individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods.”

This lawsuit follows Megan’s longstanding struggle with misinformation and harassment online, with her team now committed to holding individuals responsible. Her attorney, Jordan Siev, affirmed, “We are looking at everyone who picks up these false statements…because this is outrageous.”
