Texas rap fixture Sauce Walka is at the center of an intense social media firestorm following the leak of a highly volatile phone conversation. The audio, which began circulating across YouTube and hip-hop blogs on June 1, 2026, allegedly features the Houston rapper unleashing a furious, expletive-laden tirade against the mother of his child, making severe threats against global superstar Drake and admitting to orchestrating a physical assault against her.
The multi-minute recording captures a voice matching the distinct cadence of the “Ghetto Gospel” artist completely losing his temper during what appears to be a private dispute. The central catalyst for the rapper’s rage stems from allegations that his baby mama had been romantically involved or interacting with Drake. Sauce Walka has historically maintained a highly critical and complex stance toward the Toronto megastar, frequently accusing him of culturally appropriating Houston’s music scene without properly uplifting local independent talent.
In the leaked audio, the individual presumed to be Sauce Walka takes the grievance to an entirely different and dangerous level. The voice on the line explicitly warns his child’s mother about the consequences of her alleged interactions with the OVO founder, aggressively threatening to “get Drake smoked” if he catches him messing around with her. The explicit threat of gun violence toward one of the most prominent figures in music immediately sparked widespread alarm.
Beyond the severe threats directed at Drake, the most legally damaging portion of the leaked conversation involves a confession regarding domestic retaliation. During the call, the speaker bluntly admits to setting up a past physical altercation, explicitly stating that he previously had the woman jumped by a group of individuals as a consequence of her behavior. The casual admission of orchestrating a violent ambush against his own baby mama has drawn widespread condemnation.
As the audio continues to gather millions of impressions across platforms like X and YouTube, legal experts note that the recording could potentially trigger formal law enforcement investigations into both the explicit death threats against Drake and the admitted assault. At this time, neither Sauce Walka nor his legal representatives have released an official statement addressing the validity of the leaked call, and representatives for Drake have declined to comment on the emerging situation.

Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz, whose legal name is Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr., is facing a felony aggravated assault charge in Harris County following a violent altercation at a downtown Houston nightclub. Court documents unsealed on Monday, June 1, 2026, allege that the 43-year-old hip-hop artist struck a security guard in the head with a glass hookah base, leaving the worker severely injured.
According to the Houston Police Department’s official incident report, the confrontation took place in the early morning hours of May 24, 2026, at a venue identified in court filings as the Dome nightclub (also referenced as Privilege nightclub), where Boosie was serving as the celebrity host for the evening. The venue’s security guard, Edward Iglehart, told investigators he was assisting management in clearing out the premises at closing time when a female patron attempted to access a closed restroom.
When Iglehart informed the woman she could not use the facilities because the venue was shut down, an argument ensued. The guard claims the woman became irate and struck him in the face with her elbow. As Iglehart began escorting her toward the exit, she accidentally dropped her keys and cellphone onto the floor. Iglehart bent down to gather her dropped items, and that is when the situation turned bloody.
Court documents state that while Iglehart was bent over, he suddenly felt a heavy object forcefully strike the top of his head. Upon standing up, he realized he was bleeding profusely down his face. Turning around, Iglehart and a second security witness allegedly saw Boosie standing directly behind him holding a broken glass hookah base while shouting aggressively at the bleeding guard. Investigators were later informed by club promoters and owners that the woman involved in the initial bathroom dispute is Boosie’s niece.
The assault left Iglehart with substantial head trauma. He was rushed via emergency services to St. Joseph Hospital, where medical staff had to use eight staples to close the gash in his scalp.
Following a comprehensive review of the witness statements and physical evidence, the Harris County District Attorney’s office officially filed a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against the rapper. Prosecutors are currently requesting that Boosie’s bail be set at $85,000, and he is scheduled to make his initial appearance in a Harris County court on Monday morning. Representatives for Boosie have not yet issued a public comment on the pending charges.
