Former NFL player and the husband of former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Star, Marcellus Wiley is currently being accused of raping two women. The 50- year old allegedly raped two women during his time at Columbia University in 1994. He was accused of raping a classmate in a new lawsuit filed earlier this month in the New York Supreme Court. The most recent lawsuit alleges that Wiley raped a woman in his dorm room in late October 1994, while the initial lawsuit from 2023 alleges he raped another woman in her dorm room less than a month later, in November 1994.
A lawsuit filed In early March claims that the plaintiff repeatedly refused Wiley’s advances after he allegedly invited her into his dorm room on October 27, 1994, and shifted the conversation toward sex. The suit, which also lists Columbia University as a defendant, states that Wiley expressed his desire to have sex despite the woman’s continued refusals. According to the allegations, Wiley then became angry, threatened the plaintiff, forcibly moved her legs onto the bed, and overpowered her.
“Wiley pushed plaintiff down on the bed and pulled her clothing aside,” the lawsuit continues. “Wiley held plaintiff down and raped her whispering in her ear the entire time saying to relax, enjoy it, stop crying, and stop fighting the feeling.” The plaintiff also claims she later reported the rape incident to the school administration, however, they told her that her case would not be anonymous and she would be known as, “the girl who destroyed a Black man’s NFL dream.” She is now seeking punitive damages, citing lasting physical, emotional and financial harm.
The unidentified woman’s attorneys allege their client “has been injured physically and emotionally, suffered trauma to her body systems, suffered mental and emotional damage, financial loss, injury to her career and education, all of which injuries will be permanent or have permanent effects, suffered financial loss and which have required and will require in the future, medical care.” Marcellus Wiley has however denied the allegations against him.

Buckle up, Formula One fans—the 2025 season is here, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the most electrifying in recent history. With a record-breaking 24 races, fresh faces on the grid, and a major shake-up in the driver lineup, the only thing that hasn’t changed is the dominance of reigning champion Max Verstappen.
The biggest headline of the season? Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has swapped his iconic silver Mercedes for Ferrari’s signature red. The F1 legend shocked the racing world when he announced his move, replacing Carlos Sainz and teaming up with Charles Leclerc in a bid to bring Ferrari its first drivers’ title since 2007.
“It’s been the most exciting couple of months that I can remember having,” Hamilton admitted. “I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be right this moment.” Fans seem to agree—his first Ferrari photoshoot broke the record for the most-liked F1 Instagram post ever.
But Hamilton’s road to championship glory won’t be easy. Verstappen, aiming for his fifth consecutive title, remains the man to beat. Red Bull’s preseason testing was rocky, with Verstappen admitting the team has “a bit of work to do.” And with his new teammate Liam Lawson making his full-time debut, the Dutchman might not have the smooth ride he’s had in previous years.
McLaren, fresh off an impressive 2024, is also gunning for the top spot. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have been lightning-fast in testing, with many predicting that McLaren could challenge both Red Bull and Ferrari for the crown. “We’ve got nothing left to hide behind,” Norris declared. “We’ve got everything it takes to fight at the top.”
Meanwhile, F1’s rulebook has seen a few tweaks. The controversial fastest lap bonus point has been scrapped, meaning drivers will have to battle for position rather than sneak in a late-race sprint for an extraBpoint. Additionally, rookie drivers will get double the track time inBpractice session —a move aimed at nurturing the next generation of F1 stars.
With the season kicking off in Australia and concluding in Abu Dhabi, every team has something to prove. Will Hamilton’s Ferrari gamble pay off? Can McLaren dethrone Red Bull? Or will Verstappen cement his reign as one of F1’s all-time greats?
One thing’s for sure—2025 is set to be one hell of a ride.
