Incarcerated music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a fresh civil lawsuit from a man who alleges the hip-hop producer used promises of career advancement to sexually assault him when he was a minor. Filed anonymously under the pseudonym John Doe, the California civil lawsuit unsealed in June 2026 adds yet another gravity-defying layer to the sprawling, multi-year legal downfall of the Bad Boy Records founder.
According to court documents, the plaintiff was working as an aspiring child actor in May 2007 when he was invited to attend a high-profile networking event at a residence in the Hollywood Hills. The lawsuit states that the underage plaintiff attended the gathering in hopes of making industry connections to advance his emerging entertainment career. While at the party, the minor crossed paths with Combs, who reportedly initiated a conversation and invited the teenager into a private room to discuss potential future acting opportunities, including a specific entertainment project that the executive was allegedly producing at the time.
The complaint alleges that once the two were entirely alone, the dynamic quickly shifted from a professional meeting into a coercive and terrifying encounter. The plaintiff claims that after being offered a beverage by the music mogul, he rapidly began to “feel the effects” of the drink, experiencing physical impairment. The lawsuit alleges that Combs then subjected the teenager to unwanted, aggressive sexual contact and forced a sexual act. Despite the minor explicitly communicating that the situation made him highly uncomfortable and that he wanted it to stop, the assault allegedly continued. The court filing describes Combs’ conduct as “outrageous” and intentionally designed to terrorize, asserting that the act went far beyond the bounds of decency.
Combs’ legal team has fiercely rejected the new allegations. His spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, released a statement strongly denying the former child actor’s claims, labeling them as completely fabricated. Engelmayer maintained that the lawsuit is simply a opportunistic attempt to extract a monetary payout from the disgraced mogul, asserting firmly that Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone, adult or child, and that the defense team will easily disprove the allegations in court.
The lawsuit surfaces while Combs continues to serve a 50-month federal prison sentence following his late 2025 conviction on two prostitution-related counts. While he remains locked away at a federal facility, this newest claim joins a growing mountain of dozens of active civil complaints tracking decades of alleged sexual misconduct.
